The four siblings of the couple still detained in Sweden arrived safely at the Sultan Ismail Petra Airport in Kota Bharu at 8.10pm on Saturday.

The siblings were greeted with tears of joy by their family members including their grandfather, Norshal Nordin.

They are expected to live with their aunty at Melor, Kota Bharu while being monitored by the Social Welfare Department.

Their aunty, Sharlina Noshal was moved with the attention provided those who had aided in bringing the children home safely to Kelantan.

“Thank you on behalf of my family. We are happy that they have returned to us. Thank you. (What is your next move?) We are not sure as we need to discuss about it first”.

She said that the matter would be discussed with the family members before any decision can be made in regards to where the children would be sent to school.

All four siblings, Aishah, 14; Ammar, 12; Adam, 11 and Arif, 7 arrived in Kuala Lumpur on Saturday morning.

The prosecution last week received a court order for the remand order against their parents Azizul Raheem Awaluddin and Shalwati Norshal to be extended for an additional 11 days until February 10 to facilitate investigation
