Selangor PAS never agreed to replace the Selangor Menteri Besar Tan Sri Abdul Khalid Ibrahim with Parti Keadilan Rakyat president Datuk Seri Dr. Wan Azizah Wan Ismail, said its commissioner Iskandar Samad.
Iskandar said the meeting between PAS Central and PAS Selangor did not reach the consensus that it did not agree with the proposal to replace Abdul Khalid.
"We (PAS Selangor) are adamant that Khalid remains as Selangor MB," he said during a phone interview with Astro AWANI.
He also explained that Selangor PAS will submit the matter to PAS president Datuk Seri Abdul Hadi Awang and the PAS Central Leadership to solve the matter if PKR insists of replacing Abdul Khalid with Dr. Wan Azizah.
"We (PAS Selangor) will leave it to our President and leaders to solve this," he said.
Last night, PKR decided to nominate Wan Azizah to replace Khalid.
PKR de facto leader Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim said Pakatan Rakyat Presidential Council will discuss the matter at a meeting at Wednesday after a special session in the Parliament.
He said, even though the name Abdul Khalid successor has not been discussed before but PAS and DAP have agreed to make changes in Selangor leadership.
