The 26th Selangor PAS Dewan Ulama meeting today unanimously pass a motion to condemn and denounce two Selangor state assemblymen for supporting Datuk Seri Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail as the new menteri besar candidate.

According to the latest Selangor State PAS Dewan Ulama Facebook entry, the motion would be submitted to the PAS Disciplinary Committee for action to be taken under Article 82 of the PAS Constitution (Amendment) 2011.

Prior to this, Hulu Kelang State Assemblyman Saari Sungib and Morib Assemblyman Hasnul Baharuddin were reported to have signed a statutory declaration in support of Dr Wan Azizah's candidacy as menteri besar to replace Tan Sri Abdul Khalid Ibrahim without PAS approval and knowledge.

Meanwhile, Selangor PAS secretary Mohd Khairuddin Othman, who confirmed the matter, said the party expected many more complaints and motions to be sent to party's disciplinary committee for action to be taken against the two state assemblymen.

"We know there are attempts to entice our state assemblymen in Selangor (to sign the statutory declaration). We have full information on who are involved and we will expose the names of the lobbyists if the game is not stopped immediately," he said in a statement today.
