Low-cost airlines Rayani Air today apologized over its flight cancellation from Langkawi on February 9.

Preliminary investigation found that a window on the plane’s cockpit had cracked when flight 9M-RKA was scheduled to be at the hanger in Langkawi on February 8.

“In identifying the cause of the crack, Rayani Air will take into account all possibilities in order for such incident not to repeat,” said the company’s corporate communication department in a statement.

The company will contact related authorities to help in solving the situation.

For passengers who wish to request for their ticket money back, Rayani Air requests for them to contact its customer service at +603-2721 4925.

The statement also stated that the flight was cancelled to ensure the safety of all passengers.

“Rayani Air hopes all passengers will be patient while it rectifies the situation,” said its corporate communications department.
