A family member of a passenger onboard Malaysia Airlines (MAS) MH370 which went missing in March is slightly jealous of the families of the crew and those onboard AirAsia flight QZ8501 following the discovery of the plane's wreckage.

According to Sarah Bajc, partner to the US citizen, Philip Wood, 50, one of the MH370 passengers which have been missing since March 8, says many families remain in limbo as they have yet to put a closure to the incident.

In an interview with CNN, Bajc said the situation experienced by the families on board QZ8501 differed from the situation faced by the families of the MH370 victims.

She however added that the authorities involved during the MH370 incident have taken swift action and provided the families' with the latest information.

“It was such a different experience compared to what we have had to go through and the families from 370,” she added.

MH370 airline from Kuala Lumpur to Beijing carrying 239 passengers went missing since March and has yet to be found while AirAsia's flight QZ8501 from Surabaya to Singapore which lost contact on Sunday was discovered with the recovery of seven bodies.
