PAS' Dewan Ulama today demanded action be taken against two assemblymen, Hulu Klang's Saari Sungib and Morib's Hasnul Baharuddin following their pledge of support for PKRPresident Datin Seri Wan Azizah Wan Ismail as the sole candidate for the Selangor menteri besar post.

PAS' Selangor delegate, Muhammad Zuhali Saiman who also represented Terengganu, Pahang, Federal Territory and Penang delegates in tabling the motion, said lately, there were PAS leaders who breached party discipline and its subscribed morals and conduct.

"They went ahead before the party's decision and challenged the party with impunity like the two state assemblymen over the Selangor menteri besar issue," he said when tabling the motion on discipline and Islamic conduct at the 53rd Central PAS Annual Mukhtamar, here, Thursday.

Apart from that, he said, they also hit out at the statement by PAS president Datuk Seri Abdul Hadi Awang openly over the issue and expressed their readiness to face action after challenging the party.

"On that, I am calling the Disciplinary Committee to carry out investigations on the actions of leaders who deliberately contradicted and belittled the Ulama Syura Council and the party president," he said.
