Papa Gomo, a blogger, released a video clip showing a man resembling opposition leader Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim having a chat with another male.

The release of the video clip, which is less than 2-minute long, is seen as response to a RM100 million suit Anwar has filed against the blogger.

"Watch the video and you can evaluate for yourself if the man in this video is Anwar Ibrahim or not," he posted on his blog.

According to the blogger, suit filed by the opposition leader provided a big opportunity for him as he had a string of people whom he could call as witnesses when the case is heart in court.

Yesterday, Anwar filed a RM100 million legal action against website operator 'Papa Gomo' for allegedly posting defamatory words and linking him with another man in a sex video.

The plaintiff filed the suit against Wan Muhammad Azri Wan Deris, 30, who also owned the website, at the High Court Civil Registry through Messrs Daim & Gamany. His lawyer N.Surendran also said that the writ of summons would be served on the defendant soon.

In his statement of claim, Anwar alleged that Wan Muhammad Azri had posted four series of defamatory words at www.papagomo.com on March 16, 17, 19 and 20.

He also claimed that the defendant had also set a weblink in which were displayed a series of images which allegedly insinuated and/or implied were of him.

Anwar contended that the defamatory words were false and baseless, and maliciously.

He is seeking general, aggravated and exemplary damages, interests, costs, and other relief deemed fit by the court.

He is also seeking an injunction to restrain the defendant from further posting the defamatory words and images.
