Malaysian MMA hero Ev Ting said he is ready to snatch the ONE Lightweight World Championship title from defending champion, Eduard Folayang this Friday at ONE Championsip's 'Kings Of Destiny' in Manila.

Ting, 27, said he has worked very hard to earn this opportunity and will do his very best to take the title home for his family and fans.

"Eduard Folayang is a great champion and embodies the true values of martial arts, but I’m coming for the belt. I feel strong and ready.

"I was built for this moment and I’m going to capture it and bring pride and honor to my country,” he said in a statement recently, adding that chances like this are very rare.

Ting is one of the country’s most promising young talents who lives and trains out of Auckland, New Zealand and currently holds a record of 13-3 in his professional career.

He managed to secure a date with Folayang when he notched a split decision win over former title challenger Kamal Shalorus.

Besides Ting, two other Malaysian fighters will be battling their opponents in the same event.

Former MIMMA featherweight champion, Keanu Subba wil go against young Singaporean star Christian Lee, while Muhammad Aiman, also a former MIMMA champion will take on Danny Kingad from the Philippines.

Fight card for ONE: Kings Of Destiny.
