The Tourism and Culture Ministry will continue to work with travel agencies to inform tourists on Malaysian ethics and moral values, said its minister, Datuk Seri Mohamed Nazri Abdul Aziz, today.

This, he said, was necessary to prevent a recur of the incident like the nudist event at Teluk Kampi beach of the Penang National Park.

He said although it had been widely known that Malaysia was a conservative country, explanation should be given to tourists on things that could not be done or held in the country.

"We have strict laws on moral and decent behaviour. Certainly, being nude is not something allowed by our law," he told reporters after launching the 228th anniversary of Fort Cornwallis yesterday.
