MIC secretary-general Datuk G.Kumaar Aaamaan will hold a 'hunger strike' at the Registrar of Societies Malaysia (RoS) office in Putrajaya at 2pm, in a bid to save the country’s oldest Indian-based party.

In a statement circulated via WhatsApp, today’s agenda includes the mistrust of the RoS investigating officers and the embezzlement within the RoS.

The other agenda also include efforts to save Menara Manickavasangam (MIC Building) and the plot of land adjacent to it, the Asian Institute of Medicine, Science and Technology (AIMST), the institute that belongs to the Indian community as well as buildings and land owned by MIC.

The final agenda includes the trustee of MIC properties and buildings (around the country) who is the former MIC president, Datuk Seri S. Samy Vellu.
