Police have identified the main suspect behind the disappearance of almost RM111,000 from the bank accounts of four victims of MH370.

Inspector General of Police, Tan Sri Khalid Abu Bakar said the incident is believed to be an inside job.

He said police are currently hot on heels of the suspect.

“We have identified the suspects and we believe the suspect had help from inside the bank and we are also pursuing them. The suspect has been identified,” Khalid said after attending the Home Ministry’s monthly gathering at Putrajaya, today.

Also present was Home Minister Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi.

Yesterday, the Kuala Lumpur Commercial Crime Investigation Department chief Assistant Commissioner Izany Abdul Ghany said a total of RM111,000 have been withdrawn from the accounts of four people who were on board of the ill-fated MH370.

This was discovered by the bank's manager after carrying out an internal audit.
