Acting Transport Minister Datuk Seri Hishammuddin Hussein said nothing suspicious was found on the MH370 pilot’s flight simulator.

However, he stopped short of confirming the information as the verification should come from Inspector General of Police Tan Sri Khalid Abu Bakar instead.

“From what I know, there is nothing sinister on the simulators but of course, that will have to be confirmed by the chief of police. The police have been working closely with the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) from day one,” he said during a press conference.

The flight simulator had been recovered from the residence of pilot Captain Captain Zaharie Ahmad Shah in Shah Alam by a team from Bukit Aman on March 15.

On March 19, Khalid said three game logs from the Boeing 777 simulator were deleted on February 3 this year.

The three games were “flight simulator X ", "flight simulator 9" and "X flight 10”.

Meanwhile, the FBI reportedly said two days ago that they will complete its analysis of data from the pilot’s flight simulator ‘in a day or two’.

Hishammuddin also said the four possibilities that might have led to the aircraft's disappearance - hijacking, sabotaging, personal problems and psychological problems – were discussed in detailed with international intelligence agencies involved in the investigations.

“The four factors were discussed in detail, including the issue of false passports,” said Hishammuddin when asked about the two Iranians on flight MH370 who were discovered to be travelling using stolen passports.

“We have to be fair to the intelligence agencies who have been working closely with the police. When all the agencies are comfortable on what is to be released to the public, it will be up to Khalid to do so.”
