Transport Minister Datuk Seri Liow Tiong Lai said the authorities have identified two more Malaysian remains from the MH17 crash.

He said the two identified are remains of MAS steward Shaikh Mohd Noor Mahmood and passenger Liew Yau Chee.

They are expected to be expatriated on Thursday, the New Straits Times said.

Liow said the government is trying to bring back the remains of the two together with the remains of Tambi Jiee’s son Muhammad Afzal, 17 and daughter Marsha Azmeena, 15.

The remains of Tambi, who was a Shell employee was brought back earlier this week and buried next to the grave of his wife, Ariza Ghazalee and their eldest son, Muhammad Afif.

Tambi, Ariza and their four children, were flying home when their flight was brought down on July 17, killing all 298 passengers and crew members onboard.

A preliminary report by Dutch experts on the MH17 tragedy suggests that the Boeing 777-200 broke up in mid-air after being hit by “high-energy objects”.
