A man and two of his children were found dead, suspected to have been murdered, at a unit of the Nova Apartments in Sri Sinar, Segambut, here today, police said.

Sentul Police chief ACP R. Munusamy said the body of the man, Cheah Thing Soon, 34, was found in a supine position in the master bedroom and the bodies of the children, a three-year-old girl and a seven-month-old boy, in another bedroom.

The police were alerted to the almost-decomposed bodies at about noon by Cheah's wife who lives separately elsewhere but had gone to visit the family, he told reporters at the scene.

Munusamy said a preliminary investigation showed no signs of injury on the bodies or blood stains in the apartment unit.

"The bodies of the children were found in two large containers covered with plastic sheet," he said.
