Malindo Air will commence direct flights to Krabi, Thailand, from Subang and Penang, from mid-September.

In a statement today, the hybrid airline said Krabi is its first international service out of Penang, and the second, after Batam, from Subang.

"We plan to add more destinations in the coming months and as soon as our new aircraft arrives," CEO Chandran Rama Muthy said.

One-way fares for the Penang-Krabi and Subang-Krabi services start from RM149 and RM179, respectively, and inclusive of airport taxes, free baggage allowance, light refreshments and aerobridge use.
