Selangor Menteri Besar, Tan Sri Abdul Khalid Ibrahim today has replied a to show cause letter issued by PKR’s disciplinary committee in response to numerous allegations levelled against him.

According to a report in The Malaysian Insider, the reply letter was sent to PKR's headquarters through Abdul Khalid’s political secretary, Mustafa Mohd Talib.

Mustafa reportedly said Abdul Khalid could not attend the meeting scheduled today because he will be busy with meetings in his office.

Before this, the party’s disciplinary board had instructed Abdul Khalid to attend a 3pm hearing at its headquarters today, at PKR's headquarters in Jalan Tropicana Selatan 1, Tropicana, Petaling Jaya.

PKR disciplinary committee chairman Datuk Dr Tan Kee Kwong had said if Abdul Khalid could not make it on Friday, he could meet the committee at 12pm on Saturday.

Tan had said, Abdul Khalid is required to explain his role and decisions pertaining to five issues including the restructuring of the Selangor water industry, the Menteri Besar's new allowance, the hike in business licenses in the state, the Kinrara-Damansara Expressway (Kidex) development and the Bank Islam debt settlement deal.
