The controversial self-proclaimed ‘princess’ Jacel Kiram, who is the daughter of self-styled Sulu Sultan Jamalul Kiram III, made her twitter debut yesterday.

Jacel greeted her followers with her first tweet by confirming the authenticity of her twitter account.

Her second tweet however, wished that everything is hale and hearthy for her 'Sultanate'.

Within hours, the twitter account gained over 1,500 followers, mostly Malaysians.

Replying to a tweet from Twitter user Fatin Nadia, who said 'please tell your brothers to go home to the Philippines. Thank you', Jacel said she wanted Malaysia to give 'their' land back.

In yet another defensive reply to user Geminianeyes who wanted to know does Jacel expects a warm welcome in Twitter when her men has landed on Malaysian shores, Jacel said Sabah never belonged to Malaysia.

Jacel had stood stuch behind her father's claim on Sabah and said that surrender is still not an option for her uncle Agbimuddin Kiram and his troops in Sabah.

Jacel Kiram said in an ABS-CBN News report that while she hopes the latest attempt to settle the conflict amicably would result in a peaceful end to the violence, the Kiram clan was still firm on its decision not to “surrender” its claim over Sabah.

“We are firm in our stand that surrender is not acceptable,” she was quoted as saying in the online report.
