MUSLIMS in Malaysia are generally fasting for about 13.5 hours a day, while its neighbouring countries such as Indonesia, the duration is around 13 hours.

But did you know that in some countries, their fasting hours could go as long as 20 hours?

For example, Muslims in Nuuk, Greenland are experiencing 21 hours of fasting, everyday.

This is because its nightime is short, Subuh (dawn prayer) in Greenland is at 3.30 am and sunset at about 8.10 pm.

Besides Nuuk, Muslims in Oslo, Norway and Stockholm, Sweden, are also experiencing 20 hours of fasting.
