Four people have died, thousands have been beaten and over 40 people have disappeared without any trace or documentation. Tens of lawyers have been arrested over charges that are unknown.

Police have also been allegedly using excessive force in dealing with protestors. The authorities have also been condemned for using dangerous chemicals in their tear gas and water cannons.

These are just some of the human rights violations that have been happening in Turkey since the Gezi Park and Taksim Square protests began. The authorities, however, says that none of these are happening.
