Former Selangor Menteri Besar Tan Sri Abdul Khalid Ibrahim said he is prepared to be questioned by the authorities over all the deals he had signed while in power.

“I welcome all parties including the police to check and investigate all agreements signed while I was the state’s Menteri Besar,” he wrote on his Facebook page.

“This includes the Selangor water restructuring agreement and the Canal City development agreement. My lawyer will issue a statement on this,” he added.

Abdul Khalid was responding to Opposition leader Datuk Seri Anwar ibrahim who said that all those who benefited from the water deal signed with the Federal government will be exposed.

Anwar said the new MB Mohamed Azmin Ali is expected to review the agreements done under the previous administration led by Abdul Khalid and expose the ‘cronies’ behind it.
