Malay rights group, Perkasa wants the government to take firmer action to push the country's national agenda forward to strengthen unity among the various races.

Its president, Datuk Ibrahim Ali hoped the government would ensure the objectives of the national agenda were achieved to ensure peace and stability in the country.

He was speaking to reporters after opening the Bayan Baru Perkasa Conference here on Saturday.

Ibrahim said the existence of multistream schools, television and radio broadcast in certain languages should be reviewed and improved as outlined under the national agenda.
