Four football fans were remanded today for possession of weapons during the 2014 AFF Suzuki Cup final between Malaysia and Thailand at the National Stadium in Bukit Jalil, last night.

The four were detained with two other teenagers while watching the match, said Cheras police chief ACP Chong Kok Sin, adding that their remand order would start from today.

"Three of them are aged between 20 and 26 while another is 39. They will be charged for carrying brass knuckles," he said in a statement here Sunday.

Meanwhile, the two teenagers, both 17, were detained for displaying army logos that belittled the police force but were later released on police bail today.
