Police have arrested Ultras Malaya supporters Alfadli Awaludin, popularly known as Rambo, 33 and Mohd Ridzuan Ahmad or also knowns as Lekir, 36.

The duo are among the 14 police were hunting for in relation to the ruckus created by the group during the Malaysia-Saudi Arabia match, Tuesday.

They were arrested between 10pm Thursday to 5am Friday at different locations, police told Kosmo.

Ultras Malaya T-shirts and caps were also seized during the arrests, police added.

Apart from the two, police also arrested six others, Shah Alam police chief, ACP Shafien Mamat told the daily.

“Lekir was arrested in Labu, Negeri Sembilan, Rambo at Section 9, Shah Alam while the others were arrested around Kuala Lumpur,” he told the daily.

Shafien had earlier said based on information, other than Rambo, individuals nicknamed Tok Anjang, Shap, are believed to be leaders of the Ultras Selangor.

On Tuesday, Harimau Malaya fans who called themselves Ultras Malaya created a ruckus at Shah Alam Stadium during the 2018 World Cup/2019 Asian Cup Qualifying match when they hurled smoke bombs, flares and rocket parachute flares onto the pitch.

The match referee Liu Kwok Man from Hong Kong decided to stop the match due to security reasons and safety of the players.

Following the incident, Sports Commissioner had sent a letter to the FAM urging it to submit a report on the unruly behaviour of fans during the match between Malaysia and Saudi Arabia.

Youth and Sports Minister Khairy Jamaluddin said FAM may face sanctions if a report submitted to the sports commissioner about the incident within 14 days, is not satisfactory.
