There is not much change in the number of flood victims in seven districts in Kelantan with 19,186 people from 6,118 families still at 79 evacuation centres tonight.

According to the state government's flood portal, the number shows a slight drop, from 19,715 people in the evening, with four evacuation centres closed since then.

In Pasir Mas, the number of flood victims dropped to 11,079 people at 36 evacuation centres, from 11,184 people in the evening.

In Tumpat, the number of evacuees increased to 3,861 people at the eight evacuation centres, from 3,321 people in the evening.

In Kuala Krai, 2,452 people are still at the eight evacuation centres in the district, from 2,915 people in the evening.

In Kota Baharu, there are 336 people at four evacuation centres, Pasir Puteh(603 people/four centres), Tanah Merah (466 people/11 centres) and Machang (389 people/eight centres).

Since Kelantan was hit by the second wave of flood last Dec 16, four deaths had been recorded, each in Tanah Merah, Tumpat, Kuala Krai and Kota Baharu.

The water level in Sungai Golok is still above the danger level at Jenob, Tanah Merah, at 23.76 metres (danger level is 23.50 metre) and in Rantau Panjang, at 10.24 metres (danger level is 9 metres).
