Felda Global Ventures Holdings Bhd (FGV) has appointed Datuk Khairil Anuar Aziz as the Officer-In-Charge to take over the duties and responsibilities of the Group President/Chief Executive Officer, with immediate effect.
In a filing to Bursa Malaysia today, FGV also announced that the Board Executive Committee would be disbanded with immediate effect from today.

"He is the second generation of FELDA settlers," the company said.
Meanwhile, in a separate statement, FGV announced that Koperasi Permodalan Felda Malaysia Bhd acquired 400,000 FGV shares on July 17, 2017.
With the acquisition, the cooperative has 204.56 million shares equivalent to 5.61 per cent of FGV's equity interest, the group added.
FGV, in a separate statement today, said Khairil would temporarily take over the duties and responsibilities of the Group President and Chief Executive Officer effective today during the interim period.
"The Board Executive Committee (BEC) has been disbanded with immediate effect.
"The FGV board expressed its appreciation to members of the BEC, comprising Datuk Omar Salim, Datuk Zafer Hashim and Azman Ahmad for their contributions since June 6, 2017," it said.
Khairil, holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from Coventry University, UK, currently holds directorships in Pelaburan MARA Bhd, Sinergi Perdana Sdn. Bhd (a consortium formed by FELDA, RISDA and FELCRA under the auspices of the Ministry of Rural and Regional Development and Prime Minister's Department) and Lembaga Pelabuhan Kuantan Bhd.Prior to joining FGV, Khairil developed a wealth of experience in logistics and distribution, information technology, project management, sales and marketing and business development, mostly of senior management.
He served in the Renong Bhd Group and several other positions within UEM Group Bhd, Cement Industries of Malaysia Bhd and Time Engineering Bhd.Khairil was also appointed as a Cluster Chairman of government-linked companies and a panel member of Gabungan Pemikir Professional Felda since 2009.
