The Football Association of Malaysia (FAM) are ready to meet the Tunku Mahkota of Johor (TMJ) Tunku Ismail Sultan Ibrahim over claims that he (TMJ) has a pendrive containing information and activities within the FAM.

FAM secretary-general Datuk Hamidin Mohd Amin said every individual had the right to lodge a report to the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) if there was any wrong doing.

"I will contact TMJ regarding the issue," he told reporters here Monday.

Tunku Ismail through a Facebook posting on the JDT's official page Johor Southern Tigers yesterday alleged wrong doings in the FAM, including the sales of tickets for the FA Cup final and Malaysia Cup final.

TMJ had claimed that the pendrive was given to him by high-ranking friends in Kuala Lumpur.

Meanwhile, Hamidin urged the four Johor Darul Ta'zim (JDT) players who had announced their retirement from the National squad to submit their reasons for such action.

He said the FAM would like to know the reason for their action, especially the decision taken by four players to quit at the same time.

"We (FAM) will also send a letter to the players through their club (JDT), to seek the cooperation of the players to write in and explain their reasons to retire from the National squad," he said adding that the issue of four JDT players quitting the National team would be discussed at the National Team Management Committee meeting on Aug 10.

"Players have their right to retire, just that we are surprised by their decision since their performance is at the peak currently. We will follow the procedures by sending a letter to them and upon receiving a reply seek an endorsement in the meeting," he said.

Hamidin said the players had only made the announcement in the Facebook page but have yet to submit anything in writing to the FAM.

The four players who decided to quit the National team are Safiq Rahim, Aidil Zafuan Abdul Razak, S. Kunalan and Amirulhadi Zainal.
