The people who want to contribute ideas to Budget 2015 may do so immediately or no later than the end of July.

Second Finance Minister, Datuk Seri Ahmad Husni Hanadzlah said they can send emails to the Finance Ministry to share ideas and for consideration.

"The people's ideas are needed in line with the government's desire to improve people's living standards.

"Give suitable ideas and we'll see," he told reporters after closing the Convention of Islamic Financial Principles 2014 here, Saturday.

The ministry has received 54 memorandums related to Budget 2015 including issues such as cost of living, business, education and economic growth, he said.

Earlier, Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak said Budget 2015 was scheduled to be tabled in parliament on Oct 10.

He said Budget 2015 is important as it is the final budget under the 10th Malaysia Plan and will provide allocations for the remaining programmes and projects under the plan.
