Toll collection at the Batu Tiga and Sungai Rasau, Klang, toll plazas will go fully electronic on Sept 1, Plus Malaysia Berhad (Plus) announced today.

Plus managing director Datuk Noorizah Abd Hamid said all transactions at the two toll plazas would be conducted through the PLUSMiles or Touch 'n Go cards or SmartTAG.

"This measure is an initiative by Plus to encourage the use of the electronic toll system which is easy and convenient and helps highway users enjoy a smooth drive through the toll plazas," she said in a statement.

Motorists who use the two toll plazas have been urged to switch to the electronic payment system as soon as possible.

Noorizah said Plus would provide a special lane for motorists to purchase and top up the Touch 'n Go and PLUSMiles cards at the far left lane of the Batu Tiga and Sungai Rasau toll plazas from July 19.

"Plus will also provide a 30 per cent toll rebate for four months from Sept 1 for Class One vehicles making the electronic toll payment during non-peak hours (between 10 am and 4 pm and 10 pm and 6 am)," she said.

The public can purchase the PLUSMiles Touch 'n Go card at the promotional price of RM5 at the two toll plazas between Aug 18 and Nov 30.
