A bank chairman and a bank managing director will be charged in court today in connection with an alleged RM15 million misappropriation case involving a book publication project.

Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission investigation director Datuk Azam Baki said the two men would face various charges under the Penal Code.

On Aug 30, the MACC obtained an order from the Magistrate's Court in Putrajaya to remand a 'Tan Sri' aged 65 for seven days till Sept 5 and a 'Datuk' aged 48 for three days from Aug 26.

The two men were remanded to assist in investigations into alleged fund misappropriation related to publication of a book about a national figure.
