Asian Para Games 2014 chef-de-mission (CDM) Datuk Ab Jalil Abdullah wants all paralympic athletes to declare the type of medicine or supplements they are consuming or will consume.

Ab Jalil said all 135 paralympic athletes had declared the type of medication or supplement that they consume, to the organisers in Incheon, South Korea.

"Procedures for paralympic athletes is slightly different from normal athletes because they need not go for doping tests but must declare the type of medication they had consumed or will continue to consume.

"The athletes are all ready for competition. We hope there will be no incidents like the one at the Asian Games," he told reporters after the flag raising ceremony, here on Tuesday.

The Malaysian contingent comprising 199 athletes and officials will feature in the biggest Paralympic games in Asia from Oct 18 to 24.

Apart from Malaysia, the flags of Myanmar, Saudi Arabia, and United Arab Emirates were raised while Mayor of the Para Games Village, Hwang Jeonbae welcomed the delegations.
