In a statement to Astro AWANI, KEADILAN disciplinary board chairman, Datuk Dr Tan Kee Kwong said, the MPP had also agreed for Datuk Seri Wan Azizah Wan Ismail who is also PKR President and Kajang state assemblyman to be appointed as the new Selangor MB.
“We wish to inform that the MPP special meeting on January 15, 2014 have agreed with the decision of changing the Selangor MB.
“Abdul Khalid’s media statement on July 22 has clearly violated the decision made during the MPP special meeting by stating his refusal to step down,” said Tan.
Based on this, the PKR Political Bureau which held its meeting on Sunday had ordered PKR Disciplinary body to release a show cause letter to Abdul Khalid to explain his statement.
“Abdul Khalid should explain the letter before or on Friday ( August 8),” he added.
It was earlier reported that Abdul Khalid had called for Pakatan Rakyat (PR) not to use the people of Selangor as a stepping stone to contol Putrajaya sans their approval.
