PAS president Datuk Seri Abdul Hadi Awang has ordered PAS excos in Selangor to throw support behind Selangor Menteri Besar Mohamed Azmin Ali.

He said PAS Central leadership had ordered PAS Selangor Commissioner Datuk Iskandar Abdul Samad who is also the state exco to get all PAS state assemblymen to work together with Mohamed Azmin.

He said PAS realised that the cooperation between allies in Pakatan Rakyat is at the most crucial point and is facing differences in principals that needed a fair solution to fulfill the aspirations of the people.

He said PAS’s stand on the cooperation in PR is as stated in the president’s speech at the concluded party’s 61st Muktamar.

“It was clearly stated that PAS will continue the Tahaluf Siyasi in the Pakatan Rakyat as long as it does not go against al-Quran and as-Sunnah,” Abdul Hadi said in a press statement.

“I would like to stress here that the cooperation with PR component parties in Selangor is within the frame to strengthen the government built together with the people’s trust,” he added.
