Four in a family, including two children, were killed in an accident involving four vehicles at kilometer 405 on the North-South Highway (PLUS) South-bound, here, early this morning.

The vehicles involved are a Honda Stream, Suprima Renault, Nissan Frontier and Perodua Axia.

According to Kuala Kubu Baru Fire and Rescue Department chief Kamil Hamadan, in the 1.20 am incident, the four family members who perished were two adults and two children in the Honda Stream.



"Firefighters from Kuala Kubu Baru and Tanjung Malim Fire and Rescue Departments arrived at the scene after receiving a call at 1.27 in the morning.

“The rescue operation was conducted until 4.45 this morning and the cause of the accident is still under police investigation," he said when contacted by Astro AWANI this morning.

Four in a family, including two children, were killed in the accident.
He said two others, a man and a baby, were injured in the accident while six others unhurt.

The bodies were sent to the Kuala Kubu Baru hospital while the injured to the Slim River Hospital for further treatment.
