The Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) on Friday announced the transfer and adjustment exercise involving its senior officers, effective July 18.
PDRM Corporate Communications head, ACP Datin Asmawati Ahmad in a statement said the transfer exercise, among others, involved Kelantan police commissioner
Datuk Mazlan Lazim, who would be the new Protection Division director-general at the Prime Minister's Department.
Mazlan is to be replaced by Datuk Abd Rahim Jaafar, who was the Selangor police deputy chief.
Meanwhile, Bukit Aman Management Department's Management (Training) deputy director, Datuk Mohd Fuad Abd Latiff has been appointed Selangor police deputy chief.
The statement also said Protection Division director-general of the Prime Minister's Department, Datuk Abd Manan Mhd Hassan had been appointed Bukit Aman Management Department's Management (Training) deputy director.
Bukit Aman Special Branch Research (Economic Threat, Security and Information) staff officer II, Supt Azmi Isa has been appointed staff officer of the same branch with the rank of ACP.
Azmi replaces ACP Mohamad Nadzri Mat Isa who is transferred to Bukit Aman Special Branch Research and Secretariat as assistant director with the rank of SAC.
ACP Aris @ Arif Omar, who held the post of assistant director of the (D4) Intelligence/Operations, Bukit Aman Criminal Investigations Department, has been appointed as General Operations Force Central Brigade deputy commander.
Aris is to be replaced by ACP Saiful Annuar Yusoff who was the Bukit Aman Inspector-General of Police Secretariat (Administration) staff officer.
Supt Salim Youb, who held the post of staff officer E4, Pahang police headquarters Special Branch, has been appointed Sabah police headquarters Special Branch deputy chief I with the rank of ACP.
Salim replaced ACP Md Zainal Rahmat, who has been appointed as Special Branch chief of the Sabah police headquarters with the rank of SAC.
According to the statement, Bukit Aman Special Branch E1C5 staff officer, Supt Abdullah Mohammad Piah is the new E1C assistant director of the same department of Bukit Aman headquarters with the rank of ACP.
