Karamjit Singh Karnail Singh, 54, was Esso Exploration and Production safety adviser based in Port Harcort, Nigeria. He was on transit in Amsterdam and earlier had told his wife that he wanted to do a little sightseeing there before boarding flight MH17 en route to Kuala Lumpur. Karamjit has been described as someone who always put other people's needs above himself.
