The Selangor Fire and Rescue Department officials found the body of G. Shankar, 25, at 2.58pm, Sunday sprawled on the beach in between mangrove trees off the shores of Parit 4 in Sekinchan.
Apart from G. Shankar, bodies recovered so far have been identified as A. Parianathan, 30, of Taman Aman, Sekinchan, Selangor, and A. Muniamah, 49; K. Logaraj, 29; M. Gnaswdree, 59; G. Jaya Sangari, 27, and M. Kunasegaran, 57, all from Sungai Buloh, Kuala Selangor. Pix Astro AWANI
The body of the last victim of the boat tragedy in Tanjong Karang last Thursday was found Sunday, ending the search and rescue mission by the authorities.
The seventh victim of the boat tragedy was identified as G. Shankar. The boat which had 14 people on board made up of nine family members and five workers, departed the Sungai Kajang fishermens jetty at 3pm Thursday for a religious rite. BERNAMApix
