Seven more individuals, including two members of Parliament (MP), arrested for involvement in the Bersih 5 and Red Shirts illegal rallies on Saturday, were released today.

Among Bersih leaders freed were Ampang MP Zuraida Kamaruddin, Batu MP Tian Chua - both from PKR - as well as four other activists.

A Red Shirt leader, Datuk Armand Azha Abu Hanifah, was also freed on Monday.

They were arrested during the November 19 rallies held around the capital city, while the two MPs were arrested later after the rallies at their residences in Ampang and Damansara.

On Sunday, 10 people comprising Bersih and Red Shirts leaders, were released after being held since Friday.

The matter was confirmed by the Kuala Lumpur Criminal Investigation Department Chief SAC Rusdi Mohd Isa.

He said, police were looking for another person, believed to be one of the Red Shirt leaders, who was suspected of hiding.
