Despite a state-wide water rationing that began earlier this week, the water levels in the dams in Selangor are still above the critical level.

As reported in The Star, the Sungai Selangor Dam had a 43.87 percent water level. The dam supplies water to 60 percent of households in the Klang Valley area.

It was also reported on the Selangor Water Management Authority (LUAS) website, which was last updated at 8am yesterday, the level at the Klang Gates Dam was at 52.7 percent, while the Langat Dam was at 67.16 percent.

The remaining four dams in the state recorded water levels of above 75 percent.
