The police detained two South Americans in connection with an attempted break-in at a house in Bukit Damansara here yesterday.
KUALA LUMPUR: The police detained two South Americans in connection with an attempted break-in at a house in Bukit Damansara here yesterday.

One of the suspects was nabbed about 8.40pm when he, together with his accomplice tried to open the main door of the house in Jalan Setiabakti.
The accomplice escaped in a car before he was picked up about 30 minutes later in Jalan Semantan.

Kuala Lumpur CID chief, Datuk Zainuddin Ahmad said today that earlier, the police had received a call from the house owner on the two foreigners before a police team was despatched to the scene.

He said the suspects had been remanded for four days, beginning today.
