Two of the three girls who went missing after being swept away by strong currents that killed another girl in Lubuk Semilang waterfall here yesterday, have been found drowned today.

The body of Nur Iman Waheeda Mohd Basri, 11, was found at 12.40 am while the body of Anis Satirah Saad, 12, was found at 11.45 am near Kampung Tanjung, Ulu Melaka, about five kilometres from where she went missing by the search and rescue team.

Langkawi Fire and Rescue Station chief Mohd Hisyam Ibrahim said the team was now focused on locating one more victim known as Siti Aisyah Kassim, five.

Yesterday, the body of the first victim Qistina Puteri Wira, 12, was found at about 6 pm.

The four victims, who went to the waterfall with their respective family members, were bathing at about 4.30 pm when they were suddenly swept away by the strong currents.
