A woman and her employer were injured when the Lamborghini they were travelling in skidded at Kilometre 234.5 of the East Coast Highway (LPT) here, Wednesday afternoon.

Pahang traffic police chief Supt Mohd Nor Yusof Ali said the accident occurred at about 2.45 pm when the victims were on their way from Kuala Lumpur to Kuantan.

"The car was driven by Norfarahliya Daud, 26, a consultant, with her employer Datuk Lawrence Ng Teck Hoong, in his 50s, as passenger.

"As soon as it arrived at the location, the supercar was believed to have lost control when it tried to evade an animal crossing the highway.

"This caused the vehicle to skid to the right of the road and spin before crashing into the road divider," he said when contacted.

He added that duo sustained light injuries and sought treatment at a clinic here before loging a police report on the accident.
