Speaking at the launch, Dr Mahathir, who is also Langkawi Development Authority (LADA) advisor said, the success of the Malaysian tourism industry was attributed to the creation of products which had attracted visitors to the country.

He said Malaysia had no known ancient civilization like Egypt, which could attract tourists, but the ability to create unique tourism products had made the country, one of the most popular tourist destinations.

Meanwhile, LADA CEO, Tan Sri Khalid Ramli said the 3D Museum project took five months to complete and was opened to the public on Jan 31.

According to him, LADA is in the midst of building a chocolate museum and adding more recreational activities in Oriental Village, which attracted about 1.5 million visitors last year.
