DAP lawmaker Tony Pua confirmed that he is ready and looking forward to a no-holds-barred live talk show on issues involving 1Malaysia Development Berhad (1MDB) with president and group executive director Arul Kanda Kandasamy.

"I certainly look forward to meeting Arul (Kanda) for the very first time and asking the questions which Malaysians have been dying to ask for the longest time.

"I firmly believe that the biggest winners from the live discussion will be Malaysians out there who are frustrated, perplexed and perhaps confused by the shenanigans which appear to have taken place in 1MDB," said Pua in a statement thanking Arul Kanda for accepting the invite like a gentleman by withdrawing the conditions imposed earlier.

Pua said the details about the talk show will be sorted out over the course of the following week by both parties.

He also thanked the Communications and Multimedia Minister, Datuk Seri Salleh Said Keruak for agreeing to to broadcast the debate live on RTM even before the invite was accepted.
