Beginning June 1, members of the public will not be able to pay their SYABAS water bill at any Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB) payment counters including its chosen agents.

SYABAS corporate communications and public affairs general manager, Priscilla Alfred said this decision was made following a meeting held between SYABAS and TNB.

“In line with that, on the same date (June 1) TNB electric bill payments will also not be accepted at all of SYABAS One Stop Counter Service (OSCS), “ said Priscilla in a media statement today.

She however added that all other water bill payment modes including cash and cheque will remain the same.

The statement added that payments can also continue to be made at all SYABAS One Stop Counter Service (OSCS) counters and official collection agents such as banks, ATM’s and Internet banking.

As for consumers who choose to make payments at SYABAS OSCS, the operating hours are from 9am until 4.30pm, from Monday to Friday.

Consumers are also advised to make payments accordingly to avoid any difficulties that may arise due to late payments.
