The investigation papers on the first case of water odour pollution in Sungai Semenyih is now in the process of being sent to the Attorney-General's Chambers, says Natural Resources and Environment Minister Datuk Seri Wan Junaidi Tuanku Jaafar.

" ... it is now with the ministry's legal adviser and it will be submitted to the Attorney-General's Chambers for further action," he said in a statement.

He said in the second case which involved Sungai Sematan in Pahang, the Department of Environment (DOE) would work with the Water Regulatory Body, local authorities, Pengurusan Air Pahang (PAIP), as well as the Drainage and Irrigation Department (JPS) to monitor and investigate premises in the Bentong area.

"The latest case in Negeri Sembilan involving Sungai Buah is still under investigations. An integrated probe headed by the ministry is in progress," he said.
