The sombre mood has extended beyond the land of Perak. As the Royal City of Kuala Kangsar revs up in preparation to mark the entrhonment of Sultan Nazrin Muizzuddin Shah as 'Sultan Perak XXXV' on May 6, the Perak Sultan took time off to launch his book here, today.

The book titled, His Royal Highness: Reflections and Recollections which was held at Concorde Hotel here turned sombre as the guests who attended the event bowed their heads in prayer.

The Sultan in his speech attributed his achievement and success to the key figure in his life -- his late father, Almarhum Sultan Azlan Muhibbuddin Shah Al-Maghfur-Lah.
