A tender for carrying out slope repair works in the Taman Kelab Ukay residential area has been offered in March.

Senior Minister (International Trade and Industry), Datuk Seri Mohamed Azmin Ali said, the works were delayed due to the enforcement of the Movement Control Order (MCO).

"I was informed that there has been work being offered since March to address the slope problem behind this residential area.

"Tender has been awarded to those who are qualified to carry out the work but because of the MCO, it is delayed," he said.

Mohamed Azmin, who is also Bukit Antarabangsa State Assemblyman said, following a serious soil movement in the area, the government would review the offer.

"We need to review the tender awarded so that it can be fully completed," he said.

He said, he met with representatives of each family affected and discussed with the Ampang Jaya Municipal Council (MPAJ) to conduct a thorough investigation.

"Investigations are not only on cracks and new soil movement that took place this morning but the stability of the land behind the residential area.

"It is necessary because I came down just now to find a stream and it is still active," he said.
