A trader of Indian national was found dead with nine gunshot wounds behind his shop at Taman Putra Prima, Putra Perdana, near here.

Sepang District Police Chief ACP Abdul Aziz Ali said the body of Muhturaman Ramesh, 35, was found face down in a pool of blood behind the shop at about 1pm.

Police also found three slugs and six shells, which was confirmed to have came from a Thai Arms .45 pistol.

"Preliminary investigation found no sign of struggle and no items missing from the shop which was opened four months ago," he said when contacted here, Monday.

Abdul Aziz said the victim's wife lodged a police report on Aug 25 after her husband's ex-worker, demanded salary arrear of RM900 and had threatened to assault her if it was not paid.

"The victim's wife paid the outstanding wage and withdrew the report," he said, adding that further investigation into the case was being done.
