The Special Ministerial Meeting has allowed all interview process to be conducted face-to-face again.

Senior Minister (Security Cluster) Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob said, however, they had to adhere to the standard operating procedures (SOPs) provided by the Public Service Commission (SPA).

"After reviewing applications from various ministries and agencies, the government has agreed to allow face-to-face interviews.

"So, there is no need to go online anymore. This also applies to the private sector," he told a press conference here on Wednesday.

Ismail Sabri said the SPA would provide the SOP for the face-to-face interview process and that it would then be reviewed by the Ministry of Health (MOH) and the National Security Council (MKN) for approval.

The SOP will be distributed to all ministries, agencies and the private sector for reference in conducting interviews, he said.
