The results of the Pentaksiran Tingkatan 3 (PT3) examination will still be released as normal in Selangor tomorrow despite it being a public holiday in the state.

Selangor Education Department director, Zainuren Mohd Nor said parents could still come to the respective schools of their children to collect the results even though it is not a schooling day.

"The offices of the schools involved in the PT3 have been ordered to operate tomorrow while those not will be closed due to the public holiday," he told Bernama.

A total of 82,160 candidates sat for the papers at 329 examination centres in the state.

Selangor Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Mohamed Azmin Ali rewarded Selangor residents a public holiday Monday following the Selangor team lifting the Malaysia Cup for the 33rd time after defeating Kedah 2-0 in the final at the Shah Alam Stadium last night.
